Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

6.25hpw (Part time, term time only)

The Head Teacher and Governors of Acre Rigg Infant School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated Lunchtime Supervisor to join the hard-working staff of this school. We are looking for someone who can develop good relationships with children in our friendly and caring school where everyone feels happy, safe and secure.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service criminal check for regulated activity.

Our school is committed to the safeguarding and protection of our pupils and staff and responds in accordance with Durham Local Safeguarding Board Procedures.

Assistant Cook

27.5 hpw (Part time, term time only)

The Governors wish to appoint a committed, highly motivated and enthusiastic assistant cook.

Duties will include:

· Performing the duties of the School Cook in his/her absence

· Check produce and order stock in the School Cook's absence

· Weighing up and calculating quantities of ingredients to produce healthy foods

· To work within a team to ensure that quality and safety standards are met

· Participating in training and development activities as required

· Assist with food preparation and cooking as required
